Kon Tum College takes pride in being one of the institutions that is closely associated with the transformation of Kon Tum City.
After 15 years of construction and development (10/4/2009-10/4/2024), the socio-economic infrastructure of Kon Tum City has undergone significant and remarkable changes, with numerous key projects being invested in and built. Today, Kon Tum City adorns itself with a new image, becoming a clean, modern, and culturally rich urban area.

The new administrative center, commercial services, and residential area covering an area of 250 hectares in Thong Nhat Ward and Chu Hreng Commune. Up to now, the central area has many completed and upcoming projects, such as: Headquarters of departments, boards in general and socio-cultural sectors; specialized provincial archives warehouse; Kon Tum city Tax Department headquarters; Market Management Department headquarters; Provincial People's Court headquarters; Provincial Police public office; Workplaces of provincial career units; The headquarters of the provincial People's Committee, departments, boards, and offices

The bypass road of Kon Tum city has a total length of 24.88km, designed as a grade III road with a speed limit of 80km/h. The project has a total investment of 1,071 billion Vietnamese dong and was constructed from March 2019 to December 2020. The construction project aims to reduce the traffic load on the Ho Chi Minh road section passing through Kon Tum city and create development opportunities for the eastern area of the city.
In 2013, Provincial People's Committees established the Hoa Binh Industrial Park with a total area of nearly 60 hectares in Le Loi Ward. Currently, the industrial park has 37 investment projects (of which 28 are operational) with a total registered capital of 779.7 billion VND and an implemented capital of 637.3 billion VND. In addition, there are 6 industrial parks and industrial cluster - small industry group (with a total planned area of 426.3 hectares) in Kon Tum city, with 247 operating production and business establishments, and 3 projects are being invested.
 
The Vincom Plaza Kon Tum Commercial Center combined with commercial residential buildings (Shophouses) located on Phan Dinh Phung Street opened in December 2019. This is a large-scale shopping, entertainment, culinary, and business residential area in the province.
 
The Project of Land Exploitation and Infrastructure Development for the Southern Urban Area of ​​Dak Bla Bridge, with a land area of nearly 70 hectares and a total investment of 803.516 billion VND, was constructed from 2014 to 2018. The project contributes to the development of the urban area of Kon Tum city in a modern direction, meeting the demand for land and housing for the residents.
 
The road connecting Hồ Chí Minh Highway with National Highway 24 has a total length of 5.46km, with a total investment of over 760.7 billion Vietnamese đồng. Construction began on October 16, 2018, and was completed on October 31, 2022. After being put into operation, the road has provided convenience for the transportation of residents on both sides of the Đăk Bla River and has promoted the connectivity of the dynamic economic region in the eastern part of the province with the Măng Đen Ecotourism Area (Kon Plông district) and Gia Lai province.

 
The road and bridge from Provincial Road 671 to National Highway 14 have a total investment of nearly 250 billion Vietnamese dong, with a construction period from December 8, 2017 to December 7, 2022. This project contributes to raising the water level of the Dak Bla River during the dry season, ensuring water supply for agricultural production and domestic use for the local residents, improving the environmental landscape, connecting transportation, and promoting socio-economic development for the wards and communes in the western part of Kon Tum City.

From November 2021 to December 2022, the People's Committee of Kon Tum city implemented the repair and upgrade of Tran Phu street (from Truong Chinh to Nguyen Hue) and Ba Trieu street (from Hoang Thi Loan to Nguyen Viet Xuan) with a total investment of 179.6 billion Vietnam dongs. The project to upgrade 2/9 Park (Quyet Thang Ward) is implemented by the People's Committee of Kon Tum city in 2021 with a total investment of over 10.5 billion VND. The park is a familiar place for many people in the city to have fun, relax, and exercise.

The provincial stadium is located in the Sports Center and ancillary facilities covering an area of 23 hectares in Truong Chinh ward. The stadium has a total investment of over 161 billion VND. This is the headquarters of the provincial Sports Training and Competition Center, the home ground of Kon Tum Football Club, and the venue for provincial and national cultural-sport events.

The Kon Klor communal house (Thang Loi Ward) was rebuilt in 2011 (after the old communal house was burned down) and underwent one renovation at the end of 2019. The communal house follows the traditional architecture of the Ba Na ethnic group, with a height of 22m, a width of over 6m, and a length of over 17m. The communal house is where important cultural events take place and is a famous tourist attraction that attracts visitors to Kon Tum city.

Since 2014, the Provincial General Hospital has been invested in the construction of emergency buildings, medical examination and treatment, and the purchase of medical equipment with over 310.9 billion Vietnamdong. These investment projects are in the plan to upgrade the Hospital from Grade II to Grade I with a scale of 750 beds (Phase I).
Van Gia An General Hospital has a total investment of over 186 billion VND, built from March 2018 to September 2020, and started operating from December 2020. The hospital has a scale of 186 beds and operates according to the hotel hospital model. This is the first private hospital in Kon Tum province.
Kon Tum College, formerly known as Kon Tum Community College, was established in 2017 through the merger of various colleges and vocational schools in the province. The college is a place for training and providing linked training programs in multiple fields, industries, and professions at different levels.
