Kon Tum College Hosts Alumni Reunion and Sharing Program to Empower Current Students (phase 1 – 2024)

Vibrant, intimate, filled with emotions and significance are what remain after the program is organized.
Kon Tum College successfully organized its "Alumni Reunion and Sharing Program" on May 8th, 2024, as part of its ongoing efforts to equip students with essential soft skills and industry-relevant knowledge in preparation for the dynamic and challenging job market.

The program was attended by Ph.D, MD Le Tri Khai – The Party Committee Secretary, Rector; Specialist Level 1 Dr. Nguyen Trung Hieu – The Deputy Party Committee Secretary, Vice Rector, Chairman of the College's Trade Union; Ph.D. Huynh Van Chung - Vice Rector; Representatives of the Youth Union – Students’ Association; Representatives of the College's Rectorate Board; staff and over 1,000 students from various faculties of the College. And especially, there were 20 outstanding alumni who are currently working in different institutes within and outside Kon Tum Province.

This is an opportunity for current students at Kon Tum College to interact with and learn from experienced alumni who have practical work skills and experience. This will help them gain job strategies and effective preparation for their future careers and choose suitable job placement for themselves.

In the joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere of the meeting, the alumni presented bouquets of fresh flowers to the College as a token of gratitude to the college that had nurtured and helped them realize their dreams, leading to their successes today. Many current graduates have become reputable leaders in government agencies, companies, and enterprises, while some former students have established their own businesses, becoming entrepreneurs. These achievements demonstrate the quality of education provided by the college.

During the exchange session, the current students at the College asked numerous questions and bravely shared their thoughts and aspirations regarding their goals, career directions, and necessary soft skills. The alumni enthusiastically answered, shared, and encouraged them.
 



Speaking at the meeting, Ph. D, MD Le Tri Khai, Secretary of the Party Committee and Rector of the College, remarked: "Through this Program, generations of students will strengthen their emotional connection and relationship with the College and plan practical activities to develop the college in the future." It can be said that the alumni participating in this program and future sessions are a reflection of the college's quality of education and serve as role models for the current students to strive and learn from in order to set their current goals.

At the end of the program, Ms. Dang Thuy Vy awarded 10 scholarships to students studying at the school to encourage them.

Opportunities for employment will be available to students who seize the moment, equip themselves with comprehensive knowledge, and focus on improving their soft skills in the context of global integration and the 4.0 innovation revolution. The program has passed, but it will surely leave unforgettable emotions and impressions in each alumna and student at the College.
